San Dimas Canyon Golf Course, located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, offers a unique experience for the golfer in the Los Angeles area—a true “get away from it all” experience.
The Lakeview Courtyard
The Oak Tree Courtyard is the perfect event location for those wishing to dine al fresco, with sweeping views of the beautifully manicured greens and some of the most scenic peaks of the surrounding San Gabriel mountains. It can accommodate up to 180 guests. The romantic bistro lighting under our grand oak tree adds a special ambiance to any event.
The Gazebo Garden
The very unique and private outdoor Gazebo ceremony site is available for private events. It is the perfect place for your wedding ceremony, pictures or cocktail hour and can accommodate 180 guests. A bridal suite is available for bridal party guests who wish to use the space before the special event.
The Banquet Room
The Canyon View Room has an adjoining covered veranda and is situated with fabulous views of the golf course and surrounding mountains. It offers complimentary custom up-lighting and three 70” T.V. screens to view your video or photo montage. It is the perfect setting for a wedding reception, anniversary party, bridal shower, baby shower, or rehearsal dinner and also makes a beautiful area to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The banquet room can accommodate up to 200 guests and the attached veranda can accommodate an additional 50 guests. We pride ourselves on being able to work with each client on an individual basis. Customization of packages is our specialty, and we will do everything we can to create a truly memorable event.
The Clubhouse
Our 11,000 sq. ft. clubhouse offers a coffee shop–style grill, which is open for breakfast and lunch. The extensive menus offer a variety of quick-service, American-style meals. Both breakfast and lunch can be served to-go for golfers on the turn. Guests who have more time can take advantage of eating in the Garden Room or on the patio overlooking the first hole and surrounding mountains.
Learn, Play and Connect
San Dimas Canyon Golf Course offers instruction for students of all ages and levels who want to enhance their golf skills and strategy amidst the rural, back-to-nature setting just east of Los Angeles. From private instruction to group clinics, the programs are customized and taught by our PGA Professional Trip Stevens or our golf instructor Jack Wear. Each lesson is designed to achieve the student’s individual goals and objectives while improving fundamentals and connecting with others who share their interest in the game.
San Dimas Clubs
San Dimas Canyon hosts three different clubs on the course—the Ladies’ Club, Men’s Club, and Senior Men’s Club—which each meet once a week throughout the year. These clubs are an opportunity to build friendships and camaraderie with others passionate about golf.
Practice Facility
San Dimas Canyon’s extensive practice facility provides the optimal setting for perfecting every aspect of your game in a controlled and focused environment. Tune your swing at our 12-station driving range or sharpen your short game on our two large putting greens (chipping allowed). We offer unbeatable range ball pricing: small basket, 35 balls, $3.00; medium basket, 70 balls, $6.00; large basket, 120 balls, $8.00.
Individual and Group Instruction
We offer instruction for men, women, and groups of all abilities taught by our seasoned teaching professionals. From golf fundamentals and fine-tuning to on-course instruction in strategy and shot selection, we’ll customize a curriculum tailored to your individualized needs.

Via Verde Country Club was conceived by Vinell Pauley and designed by Bill Bell in the late 1960’s. Nestled amongst the rolling Via Verde Hills with a picturesque view of the San Gabriel mountains, Via Verde invites you to indulge in leisurely recreation.
Via Verde is the only Private Country Club in San Dimas within a five mile radius. It is a non equity club that offers membership for sale and resale. The Men’s Association and Women’s Auxiliary gives our membership a collective voice to vote on club related issues. The golf course is maintained in immaculate condition, the restaurant offers excellent food and the golf, tennis and swimming associations provide numerous and challenging events for all members.
Via Verde offers six lighted tennis courts, pro shop, shaded, outdoor lounge and snack bar. Tennis members enjoy weekly tennis ladders, mixed-doubles tournaments, limited golf privileges, charging privileges at the club lounge, snack bar and a wide variety of social events throughout the year. Tennis pros are also available to help you ace your game.
One of the leading benefits of club membership is having the opportunity to improve your game by playing opponents at your skill level. Ladders rank players according to their skill level based on the outcome of previous matches played. Matches are arranged between players closely matched by ladder rankings.
