We enroll around 700 students a year in traditional undergraduate, non-traditional, and graduate programs. LPU has 12 NAIA intercollegiate athletics teams, both men’s and women’s. We offer dynamic degrees in business, ministry, biblical studies, communication, human development and psychology, worship arts and media, and strategic leadership — which are all taught from a spirit-filled, pentecostal perspective.

From the moment you apply, you will find the support you need to complete your bachelor’s degree. The University of La Verne has advisors who keep you on track for graduation, professors who know your name, a diverse community of learners, and academic opportunities to help you grow personally and professionally.
If you have earned your high school diploma or equivalent and have attended another university or college, we consider you a transfer student. The university will allow you to transfer a maximum of 88 credits toward your bachelor’s degree. No matter how many credits you’ve taken, we want to help you make the most of the time and money you’ve invested into your education by ensuring a smooth transition.
Several Ways to Transfer Credits
To make sure that all of your hard work and experience counts, the University of La Verne accepts credits from a variety of sources, including:
Credits From Previous College Coursework
The University of La Verne will accept up to a maximum of 88 transfer credits from a regionally accredited college or university toward a bachelor’s degree, and 40 credits toward an associate’s degree. Work with your counselor to see which courses transfer on our Transfer Articulation Portal.
Complete an Associate’s Degree for Transfer (ADT)
If you earned an Associate Degree for Transfer (an Associate in Arts for Transfer or an Associate in Science for Transfer) from a California Community College, you may transfer your degree in full to University of La Verne to satisfy all general education and certain major requirements, excluding the La Verne Experience.
Apply for a Transfer Admission Guarantee
If you attended one of the many California Community Colleges that has a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) with the University of La Verne, you will be guaranteed admission if you meet all of the requirements of the TAG.

After you apply and are admitted, our advisors will review and evaluate all of your coursework, transcripts, and documents to determine how they will be applied toward your degree.

Campus Initiatives
Student Health Services provides CPP students with affordable, accessible and high-quality health care. Most services, such as appointments, x-rays, and minor surgical procedures are covered by the mandatory student health fee already included in tuition payments.Â
Health educators and peer health educators at the Wellness Center provide health education to prevent the development of chronic conditions. Wellness Services offers resources and programs dedicated to various health topics including but not limited to nutrition, mental health, physical activity, stress management, and more.
The Bronco Intramural Recreational Complex (BRIC), operated by ASI, is a state-of-the-art recreational complex complete with a climbing wall, cardio and strength equipment, a track, fitness studios, various courts, and a large pool.Â
All CPP students enjoy a free BRIC membership as long as they're enrolled! Be sure to check out other programs, including scuba diving training, intramural sports, group fitness classes, and sports clubs. Â

Bronco Navigators is a free one-on-one peer-mentoring program. Students are paired with someone invested in their success and can discuss common questions that arise for an incoming college student.
Students can enjoy free access to programs such as ArcMap GIS, Chem Draw, Microsoft Office 365, SAS and other software.
